If sound quality is what you care about, Candy AI's voice and phone-call audio were described as top-tier and expressive, and its yearly plan is cheap. OurDream AI is a strong pick if you want the allowance in writing: Deluxe Annual lists 100 minutes of voice calls a month, alongside images, video and 3x chat memory. If you'd like to see her as well as hear her, Joi AI offers live video calls, which one reviewer called its most immersive feature.

Calls are almost always a paid extra, so plan on a subscription. If fewer content limits matter more to you than voice, my ranking of uncensored AI apps is the better fit. All twelve apps are in the table below.

Voice quality is where reviews disagree most, so I treat it as a tie-breaker rather than the first question. A lovely voice you can barely afford loses to a decent one you can use every night.

Two smaller things also move an app up or down. Can you choose or shape the voice, so the character sounds like someone you designed? And does the app say plainly what a call costs, in minutes or credits? Apps that hide the meter lose a place in my book.

Uncensy includes voice on Spark at $7.99 a month. EVA AI Soulmate, Dippy AI and Linky AI list voice calls too, but publish little about how much you get. If story matters more to you than sound, my AI chat roleplay picks will suit you better.

So why is it here? Because everything around the voice is strong for the price. The free plan gives unlimited text on the Default model, with ads, possible queues, 4K memory and replies up to 180 tokens, and you can build your own character from scratch.

Get a Taste at $5.95 removes the ads and queues and adds a memory manager, and that's the plan I'd take if you're happy to type.

If hearing her matters, Im All In also brings 32K context, a priority queue and up to 100 personas, though it's a big step up for spoken replies alone. Nomi AI or Candy AI, right below, give you real calls for less.

Every paid plan is the same Standard package: $15.99 monthly, $39.99 a quarter or $99.99 a year, which works out to $8.33 a month. It includes unlimited messaging, voice calls, up to 10 active Nomis and group chats. Memory is the other reason I'd call her: reviewers describe it as proactive, with a Mind Map that builds itself after roughly 500 messages.

The catch is speed. One review reports 15-20 seconds between your message and her spoken reply, which can make a call feel slow. The free plan, 50 messages a day, has no voice, so you can't hear her before paying.

The paid plans list a full live-action experience alongside unlimited text messages, custom companions and a monthly 100 tokens. Paid in one go, the 12-Month Plan costs €47.88, or €3.99 a month, and that's where I'd land once you know you're staying. For a sensible middle step, €26.97 buys the 3-Month Plan.

What holds it back is everything around the voice. No call-minute allowance is published, so I can't tell you how much talking a plan covers. A free-account check on 22 Sep 2026 showed 3-5 messages, 3-5 images and no video, so there's no real way to hear her before paying.

Reviewer reports also say memory holds for roughly 10-20 messages, which matters more on a call than you'd think. Outside the EU/UK, you get a 24-hour window after paying to ask for your money back.

The billing name is EverAI, which is discreet.

That plan is $359.88 a year, or $29.99 a month, and adds 5,000 dreamcoins a month, 50 videos and 3x chat memory. It's a big commitment, so here's my honest take: if calls are the reason you're here, Deluxe is the plan that makes sense. If they're a nice extra, Standard Annual at $119.88 covers unlimited messages, images and video, though its plan text doesn't mention call minutes.

The catch is the coin meter. One reviewer rated the voice calls 3.6/5 and said coins drained fast, partly from images generated during the call that nobody asked for. That meter is the main thing holding the score back, so watch your balance during the first few calls.

The free start is thin: joining is free with 55 Dreamcoins, at 1 per message, so calling is really a paid feature. The billing name is DREAM STUDIO LLC AL.

Who should skip it: anyone who wants calls on a small budget. If audio quality matters more to you than minutes, my review of Candy AI is worth reading next.

The paid step is Premium Monthly at $13.99: it upgrades both the chat models and the memory, and adds about 5 videos a month. That's less per month than much of this list, and I'd call it a fair price for trying video calls.

Note the "when they work" part, though. The praise comes with that condition, so I'd treat video calls as a bonus that may not always behave, not a guaranteed feature. And the free chat is described as stiff and forgetful, which means the free account won't tell you much about what a paid call feels like.

Refunds are the other catch. Once a subscription is active, Joi AI generally treats it as final, since you get full Premium access straight away. The charge appears as joi.com.

For more talking, the Kindroid Subscription is $15.99 a month, $42.99 for 3 months or $159.99 a year. Audio is sold separately too: 500k Audio Credits cost $14.99. If you plan to call a lot, budget for both.

There's a strong conversation behind the calls. Its writing was rated the best in one multi-app comparison, and it passed a 7-day planted-detail memory test. The flip side: its replies tend to be long and heavily descriptive, not ideal for a quick back-and-forth.

Refunds are case-by-case at Kindroid's sole discretion, with no proration by default. The billing name is KINDROID, so it names the app.

The price is the problem. Deluxe is €49.9 a month, the only plan confirmed on the official page. Third-party reviews in 2026 mention Just Chatting at €11.99 and Premium at €24.99, but nothing official says whether voice comes with them, so I wouldn't buy either for calls without seeing the plan page first.

Then there's the sound. One reviewer described the voice as flat and monotone, another as decent. That split tells me Soulkyn's voice is serviceable, not the reason to choose it. If you want a voice that carries emotion, the reviewer notes favour Candy AI above.

Where Soulkyn earns its place is range: group chat and your own characters mean you can talk to different personalities rather than one partner. It keeps a scene together inside one session, yet loses the thread over weeks, so a long-running relationship may keep feeling like a fresh start. Video is pay-per-use in Souls, and lots of images eat through credits quicker than the plan price hints.

The free start is limited and its numbers aren't published, so you can't really try calls first. The Refund Policy page couldn't be read either, and no billing name is on file.

My take: Soulkyn is for someone who wants everything in one high price and plans to use all of it. If you'll mostly call, Kindroid or Candy AI costs far less.

Kindroid sells 500k Audio Credits for $14.99 on top of its plans. The cheapest paid ways into voice here are Secret Desires AI's Pro and Uncensy's Spark, both $7.99 a month. My rule for calls: pay monthly first, see how fast you use the allowance, then commit.

EVA AI Soulmate and Linky AI are soft, and Dippy AI has no stated level on file, with its chats described as suggestive rather than graphic.

Then comes the meter. Uncensy Spark at $7.99 and the €13.99 1-Month Plan from Candy AI are the monthly doors into adult content with voice on those two apps. Secret Desires AI's Pro at $7.99 includes voice features, and Ultra at $13.99 adds voice cloning.

OurDream AI's calls draw on Dreamcoins, which reviewers say drain fast, and Kindroid sells audio credits on top of its plans.

My pick for the best NSFW voice AI on a budget is Secret Desires AI: Pro is $7.99 a month, free users get daily talk time to try the voice first, and the billing name is a short SDAI. The honest catch is that its voice was called the weak point, rushed and flat. If sound quality matters more to you, Candy AI costs more per month on a short plan but gets far better voice reviews.

My view: OurDream AI and Candy AI, the two compared above, are also among the most discreet billers, which is a nice coincidence. Kindroid, Nomi AI and Joi AI are the ones that name themselves outright, so keep that in mind if you share a card.

One more practical point: Linky AI's Terms name only "Linky", while Google Play lists Skywork AI Pte. Ltd. as the developer. I like knowing exactly who holds my data, so that gap would make me cautious.
