What is Secret Desires AI, and who is it for?

Secret Desires AI is a web companion app from Playhouse Media LLC in Delaware, with an EU trading entity in Malta, where you design a partner, chat, call and generate images. Adult content is allowed, and the paid plans start low.

I spent three weeks with it in late 2025, all on the free plan, and never paid anything. Rarely have I left an app more impressed by its free side than annoyed by it. My summary:

  • Faces stay consistent across outfits and lighting, which I did not expect to love this much
  • The character creator is detailed without being a chore
  • The free plan is usable, not decorative
  • Pro starts at $7.99 a month, with Hearts for premium actions
  • The privacy page promises your chats are not used for AI training

My quick take: start free, and you may not need to pay for a while. The one real friction is social, not technical, and I'll get to the name further down. For a larger character hub to hold it against, open my CrushOn AI breakdown in a second tab.

What the Secret Desires free plan really gives you

Per the official FAQ, building your own AI girlfriend and chatting with her costs nothing to start. The actual numbers come from the plan data on the subscription page: 30 text messages a day, 2 images a day, talk time of 120 daily and 300 monthly units, 0 Hearts, and base chat engines only. The page itself does not print those limits, and the guide warns that plans, limits and promotions can vary.

My three weeks on it in late 2025 were the proof for me. The free plan is usable rather than decorative, a distinction my library salary appreciates. I built a partner and generated pictures without being pushed toward a card.

Quick math: 30 messages a day is a real evening's chat, not a teaser. Two daily images let you test whether the faces stay the same, which they did.

The catch is the engines. Free runs on the base ones, and the better engines and video sit on paid plans. The Secret Desires AI at a glance box sums up the rest.

How I check the apps

How good is the chat and the character creator?

Let me start with the creator, because it is where Secret Desires won me over. It is detailed without droning. The official FAQ lists appearance, personality, voice, interests and texting style, and you can create or chat with unlimited partners. It never turns into a tax form, which is where detailed builders usually go wrong.

Then the faces. My companion looked like herself at noon, at midnight and in a rainstorm, across outfits and lighting changes. I did not know how much I needed that until I had it.

Nothing ruins the mood like a face that changes from one image to the next, not even a weak line of dialogue, and here it simply did not drift.

On memory, the official guide is refreshingly honest. There are Memory Notes you write yourself and Auto Memory, which makes periodic summaries. The guide also admits that a long conversation only keeps so much in view, so older details may in time stop shaping what she says.

Other reviewers report memory drifting over longer chats, and one found a long roleplay held for 25 to 30 messages before replies turned generic around message 35. My advice: use Memory Notes for anything you want her to keep.

There is no shared group chat. You can keep several partners going side by side, and each remembers things separately, but they live in separate chats.

Voice calls exist on every plan, including Free, within the talk-time limits, and the guide says calls may use Hearts. Voice cloning is Ultra and Max only. Outside reviews call voice the weak point, with replies that can sound rushed and flat, so I would not pay for voice alone.

My take: come for the creator and the faces, and manage memory by hand. To see how it ranks against the others, browse my full review list.

18+ readers only. Here we look at AI companion apps that include NSFW features; there are no explicit images.

Content level, and the problem with the name

Secret Desires allows adult content, and the policy is plain about it. For video and some engines, you may need a paid plan or extra Hearts, and face swap is Max only. No content filter toggle is named in the records, so I won't invent one.

What I can say is that the level is set by the plan and the engine rather than by a hidden switch.

Now the friction, and it is a funny one. The name makes small talk impossible. There is no honest answer to "what did you do this weekend?" that includes this app. So I deploy the library-conference smile and change the subject, like a professional queer woman who has done nothing, romantically, all quarter.

I mention it because discretion is a real concern for a lot of readers, and the name is the least discreet thing about the app. The good news is that everything else is quieter. The statement descriptor is just SDAI, which could be anything. The app runs in your browser, so there is no store icon on your home screen.

On inclusivity, the creator does the heavy lifting. Because you design appearance, personality, voice, interests and texting style yourself, the app does not force one kind of partner on you. That is welcoming by design. The branding assumes a certain mood; the tools let you ignore it.

Other apps handle this differently. Some lead with a catalog of ready-made partners and make building your own the side door. Here it is the front door, which is why I rate the creator so highly.

My view: if you can live with the name, the rest of the app treats you kindly. If you want a softer, companion-first experience with less adult framing, my AI girlfriend shortlist has gentler options.

What Secret Desires AI costs

I stayed free for my whole three weeks, so these are today's prices, checked 23 September 2026, not my spend. There are three paid tiers, each sold monthly, quarterly or yearly.

For $7.99 a month, Pro brings unlimited messaging, image and video generation, voice features, better chat engines and a monthly 100 Hearts. Ultra, at $13.99, adds voice cloning and 200 Hearts. Max is $19.99, labelled the most popular plan, and adds experimental engines, face swap and 300 Hearts.

Hearts are the catch. The guide says premium engines, media, video, voice or calls may use them, and exact costs are intentionally not listed because they are set dynamically. Other reviewers report that 100 Hearts covered roughly a week of everyday chat on a premium engine, plus a few images.

My read: the entry price is one of the fairest I cover, and the Hearts system is the part I'd watch. For a very different model, with a fixed monthly price and a yearly discount, see my Candy AI review.

Should you upgrade from the free plan?

Not straight away. Three free weeks showed me the free plan is enough to judge the creator, the chat and the faces, so stay there until you hit a real limit.

When you do, Pro at $7.99 is the upgrade I'd pick. It unlocks unlimited messaging and video, and its 100 Hearts will show you soon enough if you need more. The yearly Pro plan at $79.99 works out to $6.67 a month, but I'd only commit once you know you'll stay, since no refund policy is on record.

Ultra is worth it only if you want voice cloning, and Max only if you want face swap or experimental engines.

The table right after this text, "What each Secret Desires AI plan costs", lists every tier and billing period.

Secret Desires AI option Billed Cost Works out per month
Pro monthly $7.99 $7.99
Pro quarterly $21.99 $7.33
Pro yearly $79.99 $6.67
Ultra monthly $13.99 $13.99
Ultra quarterly $39.99 $13.33
Ultra yearly $139.99 $11.67
Max monthly $19.99 $19.99
Max quarterly $54.99 $18.33

The closest alternative I would suggest

Before you upgrade, a few things worth keeping in mind:

  • The free plan gives 30 messages and 2 images a day on the base engines
  • Hearts pay for premium engines, media and calls, at costs set dynamically
  • Voice cloning starts at Ultra, and face swap is Max only
  • No refund policy is on record, so buy monthly first
  • The statement shows SDAI, not the full app name

None of this is a warning sign. It is the normal shape of a freemium app, and here the free part is genuinely generous. The price ladder is gentle too, from $7.99 to $19.99 a month.

The thing I'd plan around is the Hearts meter. If you mainly chat on included engines, you may barely touch it. If you lean on video and premium engines, budget for it, because nobody publishes the exact cost per action.

If you'd prefer a plan with unlimited messages, group chat and a fixed monthly coin allowance, my OurDream AI review covers one at $19.99 with 1,000 dreamcoins every month.

The good and bad of Secret Desires AI

What went well

  • Faces stay consistent across outfits and lighting
  • A detailed character creator that stays easy to use
  • A usable free plan: 30 messages and 2 images a day
  • Pro starts at $7.99 a month
  • The privacy page says chats are never used to train AI models

What fell short

  • The name is hard to explain if anyone asks
  • Memory can drift in long conversations
  • Heart costs are set dynamically and not published
  • No refund policy on record

How to cancel Secret Desires AI

Three free weeks meant no cancelling for me, so here I am relying on the official guide. Open Profile or Settings, go to Billing, choose Cancel Subscription and complete every confirmation step. The guide also tells you to keep the final confirmation for your records, which I think is excellent advice for any app.

One order matters: cancel before deleting your account. The guide says so explicitly. Delete first and you might end up paying for a subscription you can no longer reach, which is the kind of mess I'd rather you avoid.

Renewal is automatic, with plan texts that read "Billed monthly · Cancel anytime" or "Billed annually · Cancel anytime". That is reassuring on the cancel side. What is missing is a refund policy: none is on record, so I would not count on getting money back for a plan you forgot to cancel.

That gap is why I'd start with a monthly plan even though the yearly one is cheaper per month. A month at $7.99 is a small bet. A year at $79.99 is not, when the refund rules are unknown.

The charge appears on your bank statement as SDAI. That is a discreet descriptor, far quieter than the app name, and payment is by card. It is one of the better billing names I have come across.

A missing refund policy pulls a score down in my system, and a quiet descriptor like SDAI pushes it up. The checking method page spells out both.

What happens to your Secret Desires chats?

This is where Secret Desires impresses me most on paper. Its Trust Hub states flatly that no conversation of yours ever goes into training AI models. It adds that all AI processing is routed through providers that contractually guarantee zero data retention. That is the clearest no-training promise I have seen in this category.

Deletion is simple too. According to the Trust Hub, account deletion is available whenever you want it in settings, and there is no waiting period, and the guide says deletion is permanent and removes your account, partners, chats and associated data. One caveat: the privacy policy also says it may retain information collected previously. I read that as the usual legal hedge, but it is worth knowing.

The Trust Hub also says the app does not require identity verification. For privacy that is a plus, since you are not handing over documents.

Even with a strong policy, I'd keep real names, addresses and photos of real people out of your chats. A written promise and a promise you can verify are two different things.

Is Playhouse Media a company you can trust?

The operator is a named company, Playhouse Media LLC in Dover, Delaware, with an EU trading entity, Playhouse Media Trading Ltd., Registration Number C112448, in Birkirkara, Malta. It publishes a Trust Hub, a privacy policy and a detailed guide. The launch date is not on record.

My three weeks were all on the free plan, so I can't speak to billing firsthand, but the paperwork is more complete than most. I'd call it legit, with the missing refund policy as the one gap I'd like closed.

For a wider view of adult-friendly apps, my NSFW AI chat roundup compares their policies and prices. And one line on healthy use: a companion who looks the same at midnight is lovely, but she shouldn't replace the people who text you back.

Final word on Secret Desires AI

Final score

7.2/10

Solid

Secret Desires backs a usable free plan with consistent faces, a good creator and strong privacy terms; only the name makes it hard to talk about.

Used hands-on with the free plan

  • Characters keep distinct voices, though reviewers see long roleplay go generic after a while.
  • Manual memory notes plus automatic summaries help, but details drift over long runs.
  • The creator is detailed without droning.
  • Faces stayed consistent across outfits and lighting, with voice calls and video available too.
  • The free plan is usable rather than decorative, and paid tiers start low.
  • Chats are never used to train models, per its trust page, and statements show a short code.
  • Steady for my three weeks, with no bug reports of note.

Bars use a 0-10 scale. The overall score is a weighted average of these criteria, and every app uses identical weights. How we review the apps

My verdict: go for Secret Desires AI if you want a free plan you can actually use, a detailed creator and faces that stay consistent; look elsewhere if strong long-term memory or great voice calls come first.

The plan I'd buy, once the free plan runs short, is Pro at $7.99 a month, paid monthly until you are sure. Its 100 Hearts are enough to learn whether you need a higher tier.

What bothers me most is the missing refund policy. Everything else about billing is tidy, which makes that gap stand out.

And the name: if you share a device or a household, think about whether you are comfortable with it on the screen.

When another app suits you better than Secret Desires AI

Secret Desires is strong on the free plan, the creator and privacy. It is weaker in a few places, and the other apps on record fill them:

  • Long-term memory: other apps list memory as a core feature, and Nomi AI adds a permanent free plan with 50 messages a day.
  • Group chat: OurDream AI lists group chat, and Nomi AI offers it on paid plans.
  • A stated refund rule: Candy AI gives non-EU/UK users 24 hours, and OurDream AI has a 14-day Quality Guarantee for a case-by-case refund.
  • A mobile app: Nomi AI runs on web, iOS and Android, while Secret Desires is web only.

My pick depends on what you are missing. For memory and a free start, Nomi AI. For group scenes and a published refund promise, OurDream AI. For a web app with custom characters and paid adult content, Candy AI.

Whichever you try, run the same checks I would: generate a few images of one character in different settings, and see whether the face holds the way it did for me here. Then read the privacy policy, because a no-training promise like this one is rare.

For another character-heavy option, my SpicyChat review is worth a read before you decide.

Instead of Secret Desires AI

The next three apps I would open, and the reason.

If you're unsure, follow the path I took. Start on the free plan, build a partner in the creator, and give it a few evenings with the daily 30 messages. Generate a couple of images in different outfits and lighting to see whether the face holds.

If you like it, stay free until you hit a real limit. Then try Pro for one month at $7.99, keep an eye on your Hearts, and decide from there. Keep your cancellation confirmation somewhere safe, and always cancel before you ever delete the account, in that order.

Quick answers about Secret Desires AI

Is Secret Desires AI free?

Yes, and usefully so. The plan data on the subscription page shows 30 text messages a day, 2 images a day, talk time of 120 daily and 300 monthly units, and base chat engines on the Free plan. I used the free plan for three weeks in late 2025 without paying, and it felt usable rather than decorative. The guide notes that plans and limits can vary.

How much does Secret Desires AI cost?

Pro is $7.99 a month, $21.99 a quarter or $79.99 a year. Ultra is $13.99 a month, $39.99 a quarter or $139.99 a year. Max is $19.99 a month, $54.99 a quarter or $199.99 a year. The plans include 100, 200 and 300 Hearts a month, used for premium actions at costs set dynamically.

Does Secret Desires AI use my chats for training?

No, according to its Trust Hub, which rules out training AI models on your chats and says AI processing runs through providers that contractually guarantee zero data retention. Deleting your account from settings works any time, without a wait, though the privacy policy says it may retain information collected previously.

How does Secret Desires AI show up on my bank statement?

The billing descriptor is SDAI, which does not spell out the app name. Payment is by card. That makes the statement discreet, even though the app's name itself is hard to explain if someone looks at your screen.

How do I cancel Secret Desires AI?

Open Profile or Settings, go to Billing, choose Cancel Subscription and complete every confirmation step. Keep the final confirmation for your records. Cancel before deleting your account, as the guide advises. No refund policy is on record, so I'd start on a monthly plan rather than a yearly one.

Is Secret Desires AI good at memory?

It has Memory Notes you write yourself and Auto Memory with periodic summaries, but the guide admits long conversations have a finite active context. Outside reviews report memory drifting over longer chats. I'd use Memory Notes for anything important and keep expectations modest for very long roleplay.

Is there a Secret Desires Telegram bot?

No Telegram version is on record. The only platform on record is the web, with an English interface, so any Telegram bot using the name is not something I can vouch for. I'd stick to the official website, where the plans, billing and account controls on this page apply.
