Free AI chat with no sign-up: 10 apps and what free really means

So I ranked what matters more once you are in: how much you really get for free, and whether the limits are published. Nomi AI stands out for me, with a permanent free plan of 50 messages a day and 2 free images a day. Joi AI lets you create your own character for free. Dippy AI promises unlimited free messages on web, iOS and Android.

First, a free tier that is really a free tier, not a trial that ends after a few messages. Second, published free limits: an app that states "50 messages a day" on its own page ranks above one where the limit is only guessed by outside sites. I would rather know the ceiling than be surprised by it. Third, free images: can you see a picture without paying?

After fit, I look at the account question: can you start with no sign-up, and if not, is the free account free of a card? Then price, meaning the cheapest upgrade worth paying for if the free tier runs thin. Last, the fine print: the billing name and the refund rule.

My bias, openly: I rank a smaller free allowance that is stated clearly above an "unlimited" promise with ads, queues or a hidden coin meter. Unlimited AI chat sounds great, but the details decide whether it is. The full method is on the page about how I check the apps.

One note on sign-up: where an app does not state whether an account is needed, I say so rather than guess. If a no-account start is a hard rule for you, jump straight to Perchance.

The sign-up question has a two-part answer. The official pages don't say whether you need an account, but one outside review reports that visitors who aren't signed in can chat without limit in clean mode only. According to the same review, a free account unlocks adult text after two settings switches.

Either way, the free plan runs on the Default model with ads, possible waiting lines, 4K memory and replies of up to 180 tokens.

Free images are the gap: none, not even a sample. Pictures begin at True Supporter for $19.95 a month. If ads or queues wear you down first, Get a Taste at $5.95 a month, or $60.00 a year, fixes both and adds a memory manager.

That plan allows 50 messages a day, up to 400 characters each, 2 images a day and no ads. It is not unlimited, but it resets daily and I like knowing exactly where the line is. It is not stated whether you can chat before creating an account, so expect a free sign-up.

If you ever pay, Standard Plan Yearly at $99.99 works out to $8.33 a month, but only after a few weeks on free. Standard Plan Monthly at $15.99 lifts the message limit and adds voice calls plus group chats.

The catch: outside reviews say pictures are picked from a ready-made gallery, and you cannot prompt your own. And if you do upgrade, all payments are nonrefundable, including for lack of usage. Still, other reviewers report the most fluid, human-like chat of the apps they covered, which makes the free plan a real sample of the product.

Sign-up: the records describe a free account, not a no-account start, so expect to register before those messages. Adult content sits on paid plans only.

Where it earns attention is what the money buys. The 1-Month Plan is €13.99 with unlimited text chat, 18+ image and video generation and 100 tokens a month. Paid yearly, the same plan comes to €3.99 a month, billed €47.88 upfront, one of the lowest monthly figures in the table. Tokens cover pictures, voice minutes and video.

The fine print matters here. Outside the EU/UK, a refund has to be requested within 24 hours of paying, and a subscription loses refund eligibility once you spend over 20 tokens. EU/UK users get 14 days to withdraw.

I like that you can build her before paying anything. The free account also shows a balance of 10 Neurons. But I'd be honest with yourself about the free chat: outside write-ups describe it as stiff and forgetful, with the warmer chat on Premium. So use free to try out your character idea, not as a place to settle in.

If you pay, Premium at $13.99 a month adds better chat models with fewer limits, improved memory, one free custom-character creation and about 50 image generations a month. Subscriptions are generally non-refundable once activated, so I'd decide on free first. The statement reads joi.com.

That makes it the most generous free offer among apps with a phone app. On free you get the basic model, any character you like, and ads that cover the cost. It is not stated whether chatting needs an account, and the Terms talk about closing your account, so I'd expect a sign-up.

If ads bother you, the cheapest way out is Dippy Super Ads Free at $4.99 a month. Dippy Super Monthly at $12.99 adds, according to outside sources, better chat models, in-chat images and more memory. I'd skip the weekly plan at $6.99, which adds up to far more per month.

The weak point is the paperwork. Dippy AI publishes no subscription cancel path, sets out no refund rules itself, and the Apple section of its Terms points to Apple for refunds. On the plus side, outside reviews rate the character creator as its best feature, and they note chats stay suggestive rather than graphic.

If you searched for free unlimited AI chat with no sign-up, this is the literal answer, and I think it deserves credit for that. Its own page title says it plainly: online, free, no sign-up, unlimited. For a free roleplay AI chat bot with no sign-up, nothing else here matches it.

Why isn't it higher, then? Because the ranking weighs published limits and the overall package too, and Perchance has a few rough edges. There is no voice. According to outside write-ups, memory lasted 30-40 exchanges before losing a plot point about 60 messages back, and the base interface looks dated. Pictures are rated serviceable, with realistic styles doing better than anime.

There is no paid plan, so there is nothing to upgrade and nothing to cancel. The missing company name does mean less clarity about who handles your data, so keep personal details out of it.

For me that puts it among the best AI chat apps with unlimited text on a free plan, as long as the lighter model is fine by you. The flagship model is not part of free. It is not stated whether you can chat before signing up, so expect a free account.

What I like most is the writing. Other reviewers report it came top for creative, well-written replies in a multi-app comparison, that its characters stay in character even under pressure, and that it passed a 7-day planted-detail memory test. For an AI character chat with unlimited messages, that is a strong mix.

If you pay, Kindroid Subscription is $15.99 a month, $42.99 for 3 months, or $159.99 a year, which is $13.33 a month. Kindroid Ultra at $28.99 and Kindroid MAX at $68.99 are listed as add-ons, with contents not stated, and I would not buy something undefined. Selfie packs cost $6.99 for 50 or $11.49 for 100.

The catch comes in two parts. First, a 3-day free trial of the paid Ember model needs a payment method, so watch the renewal if you take it. Second, refunds are case by case at Kindroid's discretion, and the default is no refund. The statement reads KINDROID, which names the app.

Replies can also be very long and descriptive, which outside write-ups say can feel less like a casual back-and-forth.

Who should skip it: Android users, since only web and iOS are listed, and anyone who wants short, quick replies. If you want unlimited free chat with a different style, my SpicyChat review is the natural comparison.

For more daily messages, Nomi AI's Standard Plan Yearly at $8.33 a month is fair value if you already like it. Joi AI Premium at $13.99 is the pick for more images. Perchance has no plan at all. Pay monthly first and switch to yearly only for an app you keep.

Among the full entries, SpicyChat, Nomi AI, Joi AI and Kindroid allow adult content. One outside review says SpicyChat's free account covers adult text, though not images. On Nomi AI, free means 50 messages a day, though outside reviews say its image gallery often refuses adult images. Kindroid's free plan runs on the lighter model.

Joi AI's free chat is described as stiff, and the models with fewer limits are on Premium. Dippy AI is described as staying suggestive rather than graphic, and Perchance's content policy is not stated.

Further down the table, HammerAI also allows adult content with a big free start: 600 free messages a day on cloud models. SpicyChat's free text is unlimited on its Default model, with ads and possible queues. VirtualGF offers unlimited free text chat with its 20 preset characters. Candy AI allows adult content on paid plans only, and its free start is tiny.

So for adult text chat at zero cost, SpicyChat and HammerAI are where I'd look, even though neither gives free images. For images, nearly every app asks for money or credits. OurDream AI, for example, gives 55 Dreamcoins to start and then charges 1 Dreamcoin per message.

Short version: for daily chat without paying, pick Nomi AI. If you want to design your character first and are open to paying $13.99 later, pick Joi AI. • Dippy AI: accounts can be closed by emailing support, and no own refund policy is published.
• Perchance: no account at all, but no named company stands behind it either.
• Kindroid: web payments go through Stripe, and the statement reads KINDROID.

My opinion: for pure privacy, Perchance is the lightest start, since there is nothing to register. The trade-off is that you do not know who runs it. For the others, the free tier costs nothing, but you trade an email address for it.

Whatever you pick, I'd assume anything you type may be stored. Keep your real name, address and workplace out of your chats, and use a separate email for sign-ups if that makes you feel better. If an app lets you delete your account, do it when you leave.
