GoLove AI is a web companion app from 404 Intelligence LTD in Cyprus, built around companion chat, roleplay and image generation, where a credit called Stars paying for anything it generates. Chat is unlimited on paid plans; photos, videos, voice messages and live actions cost Stars.

My view before you scroll: the character creator is a genuine delight, the video clips were not worth a second month to me, and the refund rule is the tightest thing on the page.

One official FAQ text says regular text chat, memory, voice messages and safe-for-work pictures are "completely free and unlimited" after sign-up. The chat screen shows a "Messages Left" banner, though, and the terms cite a usage limit, with 10 messages as the example. Outside sources describe a small number of free daily messages. No exact cap is published. My reading: expect a limit, and treat "unlimited" as landing-page copy.

The friendlier part is the daily reward: 15 free Stars a day, up to 500 in total. At the reported 1 Star per photo, one day's claim is 15 photos; a single video at a reported 10 Stars eats two thirds of it.

Realistic and anime styles both work, too, and that's less common than you'd hope. Many apps are obviously made for one look and merely put up with the other. Here I got usable results from both.

The clips were the friction. They ran stiff and short: romantic in length, with mannequin energy. For a month I bought mostly for video, that was the deciding problem.

Where the records stand today: the site has a create page with style options, and outside reviews written between July and September 2026 found the custom creator working, yet an older FAQ line still says the full creator is "coming very soon". I used a working creator in August 2025, so I read that FAQ line as stale. The video side now shows a per-second cost setting and an "Ultra (1080px)" quality option, and videos are paid in Stars. Whether the motion has improved since my month is not on record.

Chat and memory come with promises rather than proof. The official FAQ claims she never forgets your jokes, preferences and important moments, and ULTRA adds "better memory in your chats". My notes from August say nothing about memory either way, so I won't vouch for it.

Other reviewers report that in group Scenarios, three characters each kept a voice of their own and never blurred together, which is the chat claim I'd most like to see for myself.

Honestly, I find that split fair. You get to judge the chat before spending money on anything spicier, and nothing on the free side should surprise you on a screen in public. My complaint is only with how loosely the free side is described.

So the month I bought would cost twice as much today. That changes my advice more than anything else on this page. Other reviewers report that the $19.99 monthly plan feels expensive next to the annual rate, and I agree: that's steep money just for the freedom to leave early.

Stars are the second cost. They pay for photos, videos, voice messages and live actions, and unused Stars are neither carried over nor refunded when a subscription ends. For the creator and group Scenarios, the answer is a cautious yes, with one condition: buy the 12-month PRO plan only once you know you'll stay. At $9.99 a month it is fair for unlimited chat plus Stars. At $19.99 for a single month, it is steep.

ULTRA is harder to justify. $359.99 up front is a big number, and its headline extras have no published quality measure behind them.

The real risk is the Stars. Outside reviewers warn they can run out, so real spend can go past the plan price. Set a monthly limit before you start generating. The plan table right after this text lists every price.

That was me in August 2025. One month, the clips did not win me over, and I did not pay again. The renewal rule is why that decision needs a date on it: each plan renews itself for the same length if you haven't cancelled before its renewal date.

On the yearly PRO and ULTRA plans, a missed date means another $119.88 or $359.99. Put a reminder in your calendar a week ahead.

Now the refund side, which I find tight. A full refund can be requested in the first 24 hours after you pay. More than 20 credits used on the account means a no, and it only applies to subscriptions first bought with a credit or debit card. Credit packs share the 24-hour window, and any credit used at all rules the refund out.

My view: this is a "decide fast" policy. Fair enough on a monthly plan, harsh on a yearly one. If you are unsure, stay free longer, then buy one month, not twelve.

On the brighter side, the official FAQ promises one tap removes your AI partner and the whole chat history, whenever you like. That puts the chats themselves in your hands, even if account data lingers after closure.

Whether your chats train a model is not stated. The policy only mentions "making improvements to the Platform and Services", which is broad enough that I treat it as a maybe. Keep real names, addresses and photos of yourself out of the chat, and delete a partner's history when you're done.

Discretion is the weak spot. The statement descriptor is not on record, and card is the only recorded payment method, so you can't route the charge through an app store or another wallet. The plan I'd buy is PRO for 12 months at $119.88, once a few free days have convinced you. It lands at $9.99 a month, the same money I paid for a single month in August 2025, while the monthly plan now costs $19.99.

The thing that bugs me most about GoLove is its refund rule: 24 hours, 20 credits, card only, next to a 6-year retention line.
