Quick math: 5 messages is one short hello. I don't mind a small free start when it is named plainly, but "no credit card required" says nothing about how soon the paywall arrives, and that bothers me. The free start does not include that level, and the free-account check on 2026-09-22 recorded no video at all. So if the DarluxAI headline made you expect spicy chat without paying, that expectation will not hold.

I actually like a clear line. Paid-only adult content is a common model, and I would rather know where the wall is than bump into it mid-scene. What I don't like is a landing page that promises a free start and never mentions that wall.

My take: the yearly price is the fair one, and paying monthly is a costly way to learn whether the app is for you. The trouble is that the free start is too short to decide on. So here is where I land. If you are only curious, one month at €13.99 is your real trial.

If you already know Candy AI suits you, the 12-Month Plan is the smart buy, since its monthly cost is under a third of the monthly plan.

The token side is what bothers me. Images and video are paid features, and 100 tokens a month is the only allowance listed. Other reviewers report visible errors on about 1 image in 8, with no free retry. If that rate holds, I'd plan for re-rolls before a picture-heavy month.

Speaking from my own time with it: I got twelve days of instant, canned replies for free, and then silence. I wouldn't pay for that version even if I could. My advice is to skip the middle page and choose an app on its merits.

Each plan rolls over on its own when the period ends, for the same length and price you saw at checkout. To cancel, the terms point you to Settings / Unsubscribe inside your Candy AI account. I like that the path is written down. My advice: cancel a day or two early, not on the renewal day itself.

The refund rule is the part I'd flag. Outside the EU and UK, you have 24 hours after paying to ask for a refund, and nothing after that. If you buy the 12-Month Plan on a whim, you get one day to change your mind. Decide on the length first.

Stability is the weak spot. The status of DarluxAI is unknown, which tracks with my own ending: a month after my twelve days, my companion had stopped mid-sentence. No company, no launch date, no policy on file. I wouldn't build a routine around it.
