Checked twice a day, every 12 hours. About this check

Reading the CrushOn AI status box without over-reading it

You are here because a chat stalled, and the status box up top gives you the fastest first answer. It shows one of four states and the moment of its latest reading in UTC. My advice is to look at that time before you look at the colour.

The check runs only twice a day, so the newest reading can already be hours old, and the box is honest about that.

Here is how I'd act on each state:

  • Up: the CrushOn AI website answered normally, so your device, your browser or the chat model you picked is the more likely culprit.
  • Slow: an answer came back, just late. Expect sluggish replies rather than a blank screen, and give it some patience.
  • Down: no proper answer arrived. Waiting is usually the only real fix, and hitting refresh over and over will not speed it along.
  • Unknown: the CrushOn AI server turned our automated request away, usually as bot protection. That means no information, and I would not read it as bad news.

I want to be straight about the limits. This page keeps no outage history, counts no past incidents and makes no promise about when service returns. It is one snapshot, and I'd rather you treat it that way than over-read it.

Why does that matter so much for CrushOn AI? Because plenty of "CrushOn AI not working" moments are not outages at all. Other reviewers report that many of the chat models on CrushOn AI's list are buggy, outdated or simply do not respond, and that finding one that works takes trial and error.

So if the box reads Up and your character still says nothing, the model is my first suspect. Pick a different one from the list before you assume the servers have fallen over.

Your balance is the other quiet cause. When the free tier was checked on 2026-09-22, it came with 100 message credits monthly, topped up by coins you earn from daily tasks. If you have spent those credits, a chat that stops replying may be about your allowance rather than the service. It is worth a glance at your account before you conclude anything.

Honestly, I find this the most useful habit on any status page: rule out the boring causes first. They are more common than a real outage, and they are the ones you can fix yourself tonight.

For the bigger picture on plans, memory and what the app does well, my full CrushOn AI review covers all of it in one read.

Why a CrushOn AI outage stings more than a slow website

A site that will not load sounds like a small problem. On CrushOn AI it rarely feels small, and I think that's worth saying plainly. People come here for roleplay with characters they built themselves, sometimes in group chats on the paid plans.

When the service stalls mid-scene, what you lose is momentum on a story you care about, not a web page.

Memory makes those scenes fragile to begin with. The free plan runs with 8K memory, Standard and Premium move up to 16K memory models, and only Elite reaches 24K. The records list memory as limited overall.

So a long story already leans on a context window with an edge, and an interruption can make your character feel as if it lost the thread. My suggestion, outage or not: jot down the handful of story details you'd hate to lose, in a few lines of your own.

Money is where it really bites. Paid plans renew automatically every period, and the terms are blunt: usage fees are never refunded, and time you don't use earns neither a partial refund nor a credit. Standard is $5.99 a month and Premium is $14.99, which is not a fortune, but Luxe at $39.99 and Elite at $89.99 are real money.

If you pay at that level and lose an evening to downtime, nothing in the terms gives it back to you. I don't love that, and I'd rather you know it before a bad night than after.

There is a second billing worry I take seriously. Public complaints about CrushOn AI mention double-charging and support that is slow to reply. If an outage leaves you unsure whether a payment went through, do not simply try again.

Look at your card statement for a line reading CRUSHON SUB first, so you do not end up paying twice for the same month.

And then the quiet frustration: the app's reputation for patchy chat models means an outage can land on top of problems you were already working around. I don't think that's a reason to quit. I do think it's a reason to have a second app ready.

That second app is easier to choose on a calm day than in the middle of a broken session. My ranked list of CrushOn AI alternatives sorts the options by free plan, price and content policy, and I'd bookmark one pick from it now.

How this check works

Our own server looks at the CrushOn AI website twice a day, every 12 hours, with a single automated request. The box records whether it answered, the HTTP code and the response time, with a UTC timestamp. An answer taking over 3 seconds shows as Slow.

Silence for 10 seconds, a server error or a connection that fails shows as Down. If the site blocks the request as a bot (HTTP 401, 403 or 429), you see Unknown rather than Down. You also get uptime for 7 and 30 days and a 30-day bar, one cell per day.

It cannot see your account, your credit balance, the model you chose or the Android app on your phone. Two checks a day can miss a short outage in between, and a result older than 14 hours is marked Out of date. So I'd treat the reading as a strong hint, not a verdict.

If it says Up while your chats fail, believe your own screen and work through the list below. No official CrushOn AI status page is on record, so I won't invent one.

Quick fixes when CrushOn AI won't load on your side

Still stuck while the reading looks healthy?, the cause is probably closer to home. Try these steps, roughly in this order:

  • Open any other website. If that crawls too, the issue is your connection, not CrushOn AI.
  • Switch to a different chat model in the app. Reviews describe many listed models as unreliable, so this fixes a surprising share of dead chats.
  • Look at your message credits. Free users get 100 monthly, along with coins for daily tasks, and an empty balance can look like a broken app.
  • Close the browser tab or the Android app completely and reopen it, and update the Android app if your store offers a newer version.
  • Swap platforms. You can use CrushOn AI in a browser or on Android, so if one misbehaves, the other is a fair test.

If none of that helps, patience really is the fix. I'd leave your subscription alone while the service is shaky; cancelling or changing plans in a panic rarely solves a server problem.

Since outages often send people looking at costs, a quick note on that. The lowest paid step is Standard, $5.99 monthly, or about $4.91 per month if you pay for a year. If you are trying to stretch your budget further, I'd glance at my page of active deals before paying full price for a longer plan, though no CrushOn AI code is on file right now.

Where CrushOn AI tends to trip up

Not every rough evening is an outage, and on CrushOn AI the patterns in public reviews are fairly consistent. I'd group them into four, because knowing which one you're facing saves you a lot of guessing.

The first is the model list. Reviews describe many of its chat models as buggy or outdated, so a character that goes silent is often a model problem. The second is content filtering: complaints mention filters triggering on harmless roleplay, even though adult content is allowed. The third is voice.

Custom voice cloning from your own sample is reported as poor at matching accent and tone, while the pre-made voices get good marks. The fourth is billing, with complaints of double-charging and slow support.

My take: none of these is an outage, and all of them can feel like one. If your problem matches one of them, the status box will look fine, and the fix is on your side of the screen, a different model, a default voice or a close look at your statement.

Backup apps for the times CrushOn AI is down

If the service really is unavailable, I'd rather you had a plan than an evening of refreshing. Here's how I'd pick a stand-in from the apps on file:

Candy AI is my first suggestion if you want something CrushOn AI does not offer at all. CrushOn AI has no image or video generation on record, and Candy AI includes both on its paid plans, along with voice calls and memory.

Nomi AI suits you if conversation is the point. You get 50 free messages daily, it runs on iOS as well as Android and the web, and adult chat is allowed on every plan.

OurDream AI fits if you like group chats, which it lists, though its free start is only 55 Dreamcoins at 1 per message, and its help centre says it does not currently hand out free dreamcoins.

My personal pick for a quick swap is Nomi AI, simply because the free plan lets you start without paying. And if a second app has a hiccup too, the full set of status pages covers the other companion apps with the same kind of reading.

Candy AI: the stand-in that adds what CrushOn AI lacks

If CrushOn AI is your main app, Candy AI is interesting precisely because it fills the gaps. CrushOn AI lists no image or video generation, and Candy AI puts both at the centre of its paid plans, with 18+ images and videos, voice calls, custom companions and 100 tokens monthly. The experience is quite unlike CrushOn AI's, and I think that is a strength when you need a backup, not a weakness.

The honest catch is the free start. Officially you get 5 messages, and they never refill; the 2026-09-22 check of the free tier counted 3-5 messages and 3-5 images, with no video. That's barely enough to look around.

Adult content sits on paid plans only, so if you are expecting CrushOn AI's content level on day one for free, Candy AI will not give you that.

On price, Candy AI is billed in euros: €13.99 for one month, the 3-Month Plan at €8.99 monthly, and the 12-Month Plan at €3.99 monthly, taken as €47.88 upfront. The yearly figure is a sale, listed at 70% off and confirmed on 2026-09-23. If you are only covering an outage, I'd say the one-month plan is the sensible choice, since a year is a big commitment for a stand-in.

Two things I like: the statement reads EverAI, which is discreet, and cancelling runs through Settings / Unsubscribe in your account. One thing I don't: if you're outside the EU and UK, you have just 24 hours after paying to ask for a refund, and nothing after that.

Reviews praise Candy AI's voice quality and the realism of its pictures, but they also put visible errors at about 1 in 8 image generations, with no free retry. Memory is said to hold for roughly 10-20 messages before details can slip. If your stories run long, that limit matters, so keep it in mind.

If you want to know how facts like these get onto my pages, my page on how I check the apps explains the sources and the dates behind each one.

  • Starting free: Free tier
  • Lowest price: €3.99 monthly (12-Month Plan)
  • Allowed: mature chat, paid plans

Three backups worth bookmarking before the next outage

The next three apps I would open, and the reason.

One last thing before you close this tab

Outages pass. The habits you build around them are what save your evening next time, so here is what I'd leave you with.

Keep a note of how you pay for CrushOn AI. The cancel path depends on it: web billing goes via Profile > My Subscription > Manage > Cancel Subscription, while App Store billing has its own route in the FAQ. Knowing which one applies to you takes the stress out of any billing question.

Keep a second app ready, preferably one with a free plan you can open without a card. Choosing one on a calm afternoon beats choosing one while annoyed, every time.

And be kind about the whole thing. A stalled story is frustrating, and wanting it back is completely normal. Give the service some time, come back to the status box later, and look at the timestamp before you judge. In my view, a model or credit problem is always worth ruling out before you blame the servers.

CrushOn AI outage questions, answered

Is CrushOn AI down right now?

The status box up top gives its latest reading and the time of that reading in UTC. It comes from a check that runs twice a day, not a live feed, and I will not guess beyond it. If the box shows Up but your chat is stuck, try a different chat model or look at your message credits before blaming the service.

Why is CrushOn AI not responding when the site loads?

The most common cause on file is the model you picked. Reviews describe many of CrushOn AI's listed chat models as buggy, outdated or not working, so switching models often brings a silent chat back. An empty credit balance is the other likely reason, since free accounts get 100 message credits monthly, plus coins for completing daily tasks.

Do I get a refund or credit for CrushOn AI downtime?

Nothing on record promises one. The terms say CrushOn AI keeps usage fees and gives neither partial refunds nor credits for time you didn't use. Plans also renew automatically, so an outage does not pause your billing. I would not count on getting anything back for a lost evening.

How do I cancel my CrushOn AI subscription?

It depends on how you paid. For direct web billing, the terms point you to Profile > My Subscription > Manage > Cancel Subscription. For an App Store subscription, the FAQ gives a separate route. Cancel from the same place you paid, or the charge may continue.

What does a CrushOn AI charge look like on my statement?

Charges appear as CRUSHON SUB. Public complaints mention double-charging, so if an outage makes you unsure whether a payment went through, look for that line on your statement before paying again.

What is a good backup when CrushOn AI is down?

For conversation, Nomi AI is my pick, with 50 free messages every day. For images and video, which CrushOn AI does not offer, Candy AI is the stronger choice on its paid plans. OurDream AI is another option if group chats matter to you.

Why is CrushOn AI DeepSeek not working?

The records name no DeepSeek model for CrushOn AI, so I can't confirm one is on its list or say why it would fail. What is on file is that reviews describe many of its listed chat models as buggy, outdated or not responding, so a single silent model is a common story. If you searched for CrushOn AI DeepSeek down, keep in mind that the box on this page reads the website as a whole, not any one model. Try another model first.
