GirlfriendGPT stacks Premium, Deluxe and Elite, and each step up buys more messages, more memory context and more features.

The free start is where I'd look first. Nomi AI refills 50 messages every day, with a 400-character cap per message. GirlfriendGPT's free plan lists 20 bonus messages that never expire, another 10 each day you use Daily Login, and 30 coins when you first register.

Its terms describe the free tier more narrowly, as a limited count of around 10 to 20 messages in total, so the sources differ. Either way, Nomi's allowance is the one you can actually live on.

Content rules split them again. Nomi AI allows adult chat on every plan. GirlfriendGPT keeps it for paying members, with NSFW chat listed from Premium upward. Platforms differ as well: Nomi AI has the web, iOS and Android, while GirlfriendGPT lists the web and Android, so on an iPhone you would use it in the browser.

Memory is the real decider for me. Nomi AI lists memory as a standard feature, while GirlfriendGPT puts it behind the paywall, and its bigger context windows (8K on Deluxe, 16K on Elite) cost real money. Other reviewers report a week-long test on GirlfriendGPT Premium where a personal detail they had planted was simply forgotten, and made-up details were offered in its place. That result would worry me if being remembered is why you want a companion.

I'm not writing GirlfriendGPT off. Its Elite plan adds live voice calls and unlimited messages, which Nomi can't match on voice. But I'd only go there with a clear budget. The week-long Premium result I mentioned above is the part that stays with me. If memory is the feature you care about, Nomi is my pick without hesitation.

It has no group chat entry. I like building a companion from scratch rather than accepting a default, and neither record says what gender options the builder offers, so that question stays open for both.

Nomi AI is quieter here, with 2 free images a day, 40 image credits a day on Standard and voice calls on the paid plan. I'd call it a draw with different flaws.

The paid ladder is where the app lives. Premium at $15.00 a month gets you 5,000 messages, chat history, premium models, in-chat images, custom character creation, 400 coins and adult chat. Deluxe at $35.00 raises you to 20,000 messages, TTS voice messages, video and 8K memory context. Elite at $50.00 removes the message cap and adds 16K memory context.

My honest read: Premium is the only tier I'd consider without a strong reason, because memory is where this app needs money to shine.

That's also my main worry. Memory is paid, and the one long memory test on record for Premium came back with no recall at all. If you pick GirlfriendGPT, pick it for voice or variety, not to be remembered.

Refunds are close to nonexistent. The terms say no refunds for paid subscriptions, with a narrow exception in certain limited cases. Cancelling happens on the manage subscription page of your account, or on the CCBill website if CCBill billed you. Note which one charged you before you need it.

The free plan is the strongest part of the offer. Fifty messages a day at up to 400 characters each is a real daily habit, not a teaser. Two images a day come with it, and there are no ads.

On Standard, messages become unlimited with 800 characters each, and you get voice calls and room for up to 10 active Nomis.

Where would I hold back? Pictures and voice. Reviews describe the image side as a pre-made gallery without custom prompting that often turns down NSFW requests, and they note a lag of 15-20 seconds on voice calls.

Other reviewers report checkout trouble too: a payment that sat pending for as long as three days, and sometimes a VPN or US region needed to finish it. If that happens to you, I'd contact support rather than retry the card over and over.

The fine print is firm. Plans renew on their own unless you cancel before the expiry date, and all payments are nonrefundable, including for lack of use. Web cancelling goes through the Profile icon and the Subscription tab. On Android you can also cancel through Google Play.

On GirlfriendGPT, the question is which tier. Premium is $15.00 a month or $144.00 a year, which works out to $12.00 a month. Deluxe is $35.00 monthly or $294.00 yearly ($24.50 a month). Elite is $50.00 monthly or $396.00 yearly ($33.00 a month).

The monthly entry prices look almost identical: $15.00 against $15.99. What you get for that money is not.

For a regular chatter, Premium's 5,000 messages a month is plenty, but memory is the catch. Deeper memory context arrives at Deluxe, which more than doubles the monthly bill. Nomi AI lists memory on its only paid plan, so the same budget buys you the feature I care about most.

My smart buys: on Nomi, the free plan first and then one monthly payment as a trial. On GirlfriendGPT, Premium monthly, and only if adult chat or in-chat images are what you are after. I'd skip the yearly plans on both until a month has convinced you, because neither app refunds a subscription once paid.

Coins are the wildcard on GirlfriendGPT. Premium includes 400 a month, but the record does not say what a coin buys, so I can't tell you how far that goes. The free plan also answers the question most people have and don't ask out loud: can I try this properly without paying? Yes. With fifty messages daily, you'll know soon enough if the conversation holds your attention, and adult chat is not locked away while you decide.

What I'd tell you before you upgrade: Standard is $15.99 a month, and once paid, it stays paid. There is no refund for changing your mind. So give the free plan a real run first, then pay for a single month.

That month also opens up to 10 active group chats, if you ever want more than one character in a scene.

If your heart is set on voice calls or custom pictures, Nomi is not the strongest choice.

• You want the most discreet bank line: GirlfriendGPT, billed as NDAI.CC.
• You are on iPhone: Nomi AI, since GirlfriendGPT lists web and Android only.

My overall vote goes to Nomi AI. It asks less of you up front, it treats memory as a basic feature, and its single paid plan is easy to understand. GirlfriendGPT is the more ambitious app on paper, but most of its best parts start at $35.00 a month, and its memory results worry me.

Both share one rule I wish they didn't: refunds are off the table once you have paid. That's why I'd keep either one on monthly billing for the first stretch, however tempting the yearly savings look.
